Can be connected with the hive body with four different ways:
1. With adjustable front and rear fasteners.
2. With wire fasteners right and left.
3. Screw-in. With special connectors so that the bottom can be screwed permanently on the hive body thus transforming into a brood chamber with non-atachable bottom board.
4. With attachment straps which can be removed after beehive placement to discourage thieves.

To install the disk, you must open a 30-40mm hole on the beehive side. The disk is installed on the hive by passing a screw through the disc center. It features 4 positions/“settings”: (i) completely closed, (ii) completely open, (iii) bee queen excluder and (iv) protection from hornets. TIP: Can be used for multiplication and merging of colonies. Making a 4 cm hole and installing two discs on a wooden sheet with same dimensions as the beehive, allows you, by changing disc “settings” to use the structure for queen separation (exclusion) and merging of colonies: first leave the discs at “completely closed” position with ventilation for 1-2 days, allowing the transfer of smell between the two colonies; then turn both discs to “queen excluder” position, thus allowing communication of the bees, while the queens keep giving birth without being able to contact/harm each other (since the discs/excluders are placed in between the two different floors created by the installation of the wood/disc structure).

A plastic frame with integrated plastic foundation with perfectly printed hexagons (5,6 mm). No wiring or riveting necessary. Resistant to wax moths. It does not get unfastened or loose and does not “sag”. You can use higher speeds in the honey extractor without destroying the comb (especially useful for thick honey types such as fir). All ANEL plastic frames are available waxed or unwaxed. If you want to wax ANEL frames yourself you can either dip them in molten wax (temperature 60-70⁰C) or wax them using a roll dipped into molten wax. TIP: The ANEL frames can be disinfected in a solution of caustic potash 5% at 80⁰C.

Can be fastened with screws on the hive cover under the feeding cap or simply placed on the frames. Simple to use. You will need to add a floater (ref.AN30029) or alternative floating materials such as wood, net etc.

• It prevents the entry of wasps, death's-head hawkmoths, snakes, or mice, protecting the colony population.

• To close the entrance, simply rotate the door to the solid side (without holes).

• To remove it, press lightly to the right or left; the small pins at the back facilitate easy extraction.
