ANEL’s Insect Traps fight efficiently, economically and safely, pest insects on crops or at your home. Without poisons or glues. ANEL’s Insect Traps were first used successfully in mass combating pest insects in organic and non-organic crops. They cause physical drowning to the insects that capture so the use of insecticides is not required. Baits required are inexpensive, safe and some of them you can even prepare them yourself. They are made of highly durable recycled material and can be reused for many years. The traps meet all the EU standards for organic agricultural production (2092/91). TIP: For small yellow wasps orange juice is a good bait.

A plastic frame with integrated plastic foundation with perfectly printed hexagons (5,6 mm). No wiring or riveting necessary. Resistant to wax moths. It does not get unfastened or loose and does not “sag”. You can use higher speeds in the honey extractor without destroying the comb (especially useful for thick honey types such as fir). All ANEL plastic frames are available waxed or unwaxed. If you want to wax ANEL frames yourself you can either dip them in molten wax (temperature 60-70⁰C) or wax them using a roll dipped into molten wax. TIP: The ANEL frames can be disinfected in a solution of caustic potash 5% at 80⁰C.

Beehive Legs Vrahipus ANEL Elevation and Protection (1 piece )

They simultaneously solve two problems: - Elevate the hive from the ground level, facilitating the beekeeper’s work. - Provide protection from crawling bugs, as they cannot enter the hive. You can also add repellant fluid (like petrol) or adhesive (like oil or grease) in the special tray. Any creature trying to cross Vrahipus will be trapped in place. The Hive Legs Vrahipus are designed to snap together; thus, you can add as many as necessary, to adjust the desired height. PROTECT YOUR HIVES FROM AETHINA TUMIDA ! The legs can be perfectly combined with bee pollen collection set ref. AN57100 or other entrance pollen collector, to protect your collected pollen from unwanted “visitors”. - TIP: To fasten the Hive Legs Vrahipus on an ANEL bottom board, you must first unscrew the bottom board bases (feet) and then snap Vrahipus in place. The bases snap very easily on the bottom of the Vrahipus feet. - TIP: To fasten them on wooden bottom boards or brood chambers, use screws that are 1cm longer compared to the wood. You will need 4 screws for each leg.
