Viene usata per la fecondazione naturale dell’ape regina. Può essere adoperato anche per il trasporto della regina in tutta sicurezza, visto che l’arnietta consiste in una famiglia completa di api autosostenibile. Questo tipo di arnietta si distingue per la sua struttura semplice, è facile da impilare, dotata di buona aereazione, dispone di spazio soddisfacente per il nutrimento e abbastanza spazio per l’attività delle api (3 telaini). La parte anteriore è dotata di una porticina scorrevole per il trasporto dell’arnietta in sicurezza. Il fondo dispone di un cassettino in plastica che aerea l’arnietta e permette l’adattamento graduale dell’odore e l’accettazione della regina nella nuova arnia.

Posizionate nell'arnietta per la fecondazione delle regine una regina vergine insieme a delle api; l'arnietta è pronta per essere usata come un normale alveare. Nutritore incorporato sul lato posteriore. Quando la regina verrà fecondata comincerà a deporre le uova nei piccoli telaini. La regina non può rimanere per molto nell'arnietta a causa della tendenza a sciamare.
Consiglio: perché i piccoli telaini vengano costruiti velocemente, affidate la costruzione ad un'alveare di dimensioni normali.

Olio di lino crudo per l’applicazione sul legno prima della tinteggiatura finale. Diminuisce l’assorbimento del fissativo o del colore, permettendo di risparmiare usandone meno (visto che il loro costo è maggiore di quello dell’olio di lino).

Colore non tossico e particolarmente resistente. Premere la punta del pennarello verso l’interno qualche volta, fino a quando essa si riempirà di colore. Poggiare la punta del pennarello sulla schiena della regina, aspettare qualche secondo che si asciughi il colore e rilasciare la regina. È consigliato usare il codice internazionale dei colori in base all’anno di nascita della regina.

Solvente chimico per colori e fissativi per pitture metalliche. Oltre ad aggiungerla per diluire i fissativi e i colori, potete usarla per pulire gli strumenti adoperati durante la tinteggiatura.

Vi danno la possibilità di costruire i vostri propri telaini. Basta collegare le due barrette di sostegno con i listelli superiore ed inferiore (che potete facilmente costruire con semplici attrezzi da falegnameria).
