Was sind die Vorteile eines belüfteten Plastik Beutenboden? Die Bienen können den Bienenstock sehr einfach sauber halten. Wenn eine Varroabehandlung angewendet wird fallen die Parasiten unter die Beute, so dass diese effektiver behandelt wird. Ventilation bedeutet weniger Feuchtigkeit und weniger Feuchtigkeit bedeutet eine geringere Chance das sich Nozema im Bienenstock ausbreiten wird.

Propolisgitter ANEL Langstroth/Dadant 10

Propolis ist ein vielversprechendes Produkt mit einem sehr guten Preis, was ihrem Einkommen beisteuern könnte, ohne das ein großer Zeitaufwand benötigt wird. Die Propolisgitter werden zwischen der obersten Zarge und dem Deckel platziert. Über dem Propolisgitter und der Beutenabdeckung sollte etwas Platz übrig sein, so dass Luftströme erzeugt werden vor denen die Bienen sich zu schützen versuchen werden, in dem sie die Wand mit Propolis füllen. Um die benötigte Lücke zu halten, können die zwei faltbaren Abstandhalter die an der Seite befestigt werden, genutzt werden. Die Propolis kann von dem Gitter extrahiert werden, indem es für 5 Minuten in das Gefrierfach gelegt wurde und anschließend mit einem Stück Holz oder der bloßen Hand geschüttelt oder abgerubbelt wird.
