The new ANEL LockFit Beehive Bottom Board (Detachable Plastic Ventilated Langstroth Set with Drawer and Door - Available in brown and white) was designed to offer maximum functionality, stability, and ergonomics for every beekeeper. This is a bottom board with multiple capabilities and absolute compatibility with wooden and plastic hive bodies, thanks to its reinforced perimeter frame.

• Screened surface with mesh for excellent ventilation and effective humidity control.

• Collection drawer that fits from both the front and the rear, offering handling flexibility.

  • From the rear, it can be secured for permanent placement.

  • From the front, when inserted, it extends the landing board for a comfortable landing for the bees.

• Guides for vertical division boards, ideal for colony splitting/nucs or special hive management.

• Large holes allowing the bottom board to be screwed onto a pallet, ensuring stability during transport and installation.

• Perimeter frame guaranteeing a perfect fit with every type of hive body, whether wooden or plastic.

• Small perimeter holes allowing for the option of permanently attaching the bottom board to the hive body.

• Optional black feet that snap onto the bottom and prevent soil and stones from entering the holes of the base.

• Special receptor holes for immediate integration of the Big Guy pollen trap without additional modifications.

• When the bottom board is used as a detachable unit, its connection to the hive body is done using metal hive latches/fasteners.

🔸 Entrance Door (Blue or Yellow) The ANEL LockFit door offers security and ease of use:

• It prevents the entry of wasps, death's-head hawkmoths, snakes, or mice, protecting the colony population.

• To close the entrance, simply rotate the door to the solid side (without holes).

• To remove it, press lightly to the right or left; the small pins at the back facilitate easy extraction.

🔸 Drawer & Varroa Monitoring The drawer features grid lines/guides that allow for faster Varroa counting, offering valuable information on the colony's health.
